Deniz is originally from Chalfont, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the program from 2015 until 2019, and was a competing member of teams that were the national runner-up in 2016 and national champions in 2017. As a competitor, Deniz received 17 individual awards, including three All-American Witness awards. Deniz also served as a team captain and the program's Executive Vice President for two years. He now attends law school at Drexel University.
