Megan is from Richmond, Virginia. She was a member of the program from 2009 until 2013, including the two years in which both program teams finished in the top ten at back-to-back national championship tournaments for the first time in program history. Megan won fifteen outstanding attorney awards as an individual competitor, which is tied for the second-most in program history. She also served as a team captain during her second, third, and fourth years, the program’s Treasurer during her second year, the program’s President during her third year, and the program’s Executive Vice President during her fourth year. Megan went on to pursue an MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Oxford. She now works at a nonprofit in Washington, D.C.
