Mike is originally from Poughkeepsie, New York. He attended college at Notre Dame, where he was a four-year member of its mock trial program, served as its president for two years, and received All-American awards as both a witness and an attorney. Mike attended law school at Washington University in St. Louis, where he lead its team to two national finishes in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Now, Mike prosecutes tax fraud, which automatically makes him the most popular person at almost all parties (except those involving tea).
After serving as a judge at GAMTI for a number of years, Mike joined Virginia Mock Trial as an Assistant Coach for the 2009-10 season. He is currently a federal prosecutor in Washington, DC.
