Ryann is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member of the program from 2005 until 2008, and was a competing member of the teams that won back-to-back national championships in 2006 and 2007. Ryann won five individual awards as a competitor, including two attorney awards and three witness awards. She also served as a team captain, and as program Secretary for two years. Ryann graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce and has worked as a consultant for McKinsey and Company and at the National Economic Council in Washington, DC. In 2017 she was named one of Forbes magazine's "30 Under 30."
