Ben is originally from Arlington, Virginia. He was a member of the program from 2012-2016, including four years in which the program finished in the top 10 at the National Championship Tournament, and the year in which the program finished as runner-up at the National Championship Tournament.
As a competitor, Ben won three witness awards and one attorney award. He served as a team captain for two years, the program's President during his third year, and as Tournament Director during his fourth year. After graduating, Ben attended law school at the University of Chicago Law School, and now works as a lawyer in Washington, D.C.
