Kevin has been involved with Virginia Mock Trial since 2004. He also competed for three years at North Salem High School, serving as President his senior year and leading the team to its first-ever appearance in the County Championship Round (NSHS's best-ever finish).
Kevin joined the UVa mock trial team as a first year in 2004. He competed for each of the next four years, captaining team 973 twice as well as serving as program treasurer and president. Kevin competed in a variety of roles, from cuddly family physician Dr. Siegfried to friendly probation officer Sal Dritz to frenzy-fueled prosecution closer. Kevin's proudest moment, though, came at the 2007 National Championship Tournament, when his team of first-year mock trialers tied for 5th in the division (the first top-10 finish for a UVa B team).
After graduating in 2008, Kevin worked as a Patent Examiner in the US Patent Office in Alexandria, Va. for three years, during which he also served as an Assistant Coach. Kevin left the Patent Office in 2011 to attend law school, and graduated in 2014. After law school, Kevin clerked for two federal judges.
