Ryan came to UVA by way of Delaware, home of Joe Biden and tax-free shopping. He competed for the University of Delaware Blue Hens from 2010-2014, serving as president and a regional tournament director. Before law school, he spent a year coaching his alma mater to a top-ten finish at nationals.
