Lucy is originally from Dalton, Georgia. She was a member of the program from 2006 until 2008, and was a member of the team that won the program's second consecutive national championship in 2007. Lucy also served as a team captain and won four individual attorney awards, including an All American attorney award at the 2008 National Championship Tournament. Following graduation, she spent two years with Teach for America in North Carolina and attended Duke Law School. She is currently a federal prosecutor in North Carolina.
